School's expectations from Parents/Guardians

Every school expects parents to actively participate and fulfill various responsibilities to support their child's education and overall development. By partnering with the school, parents contribute to creating a conducive learning environment for their children.

These expectations include:

⌘ Instilling the importance of education: Parents are responsible for explaining to their child the significance of school and how it influences their future.

 ⌘ Realistic expectations: Parents are encouraged to have clear and reasonable expectations from their child, as children tend to learn better in an environment with realistic expectations.

⌘ Character development: Building strong character in students is of prime importance. Parents play a crucial role in instilling good values, manners, etiquettes, and discipline in their children.

⌘ Punctuality and attendance: Parents are expected to ensure that their child arrives at school on time and has regular attendance. Absenteeism should only occur when the child is genuinely ill.

⌘ Active involvement in daily activities: Parents should spend quality time with their child daily, inquiring about their school activities, reviewing their school work, acknowledging teacher's remarks, and ensuring completion of assigned homework. Providing constructive feedback to their child is also important.

⌘ Encouraging self-learning: Parents should foster habits of self-learning in their children and discourage excessive reliance on private tuitions. However, for slow learners, limited remedial tuition may be considered.

 ⌘ Active participation: Parents are encouraged to motivate their child to actively participate in various school events, activities, and competitions, fostering healthy competition among peers.

⌘ Appearance and hygiene: Parents must ensure that their child comes to school clean and well-dressed in accordance with the dress code. They should educate their child about cleanliness and personal hygiene.

⌘ Emotional well-being: Parents should be attentive to signs of emotional maladjustment in their child and seek immediate assistance if needed, involving the school authorities.

⌘ Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs): Attending all PTMs is mandatory for parents. They should utilize these meetings to discuss their child's progress, seek the teacher's opinion, and share any concerns.

 ⌘ Compliance with school rules: Parents are expected to have faith in the school system, support school rules and policies, and follow established procedures and schedules. They should instill respect for these systems in their children.

⌘ Constructive feedback and communication: Parents are encouraged to provide constructive feedback to the school authorities, whether through personal meetings, suggestion boxes, or online portals.

⌘ Timely updates: Parents must promptly notify the school authorities of any changes in their contact information.

 ⌘ கல்வியின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை புகுத்துதல்: பள்ளியின் முக்கியத்துவத்தையும் அது அவர்களின் எதிர்காலத்தை எவ்வாறு பாதிக்கிறது என்பதையும் பிள்ளைகளுக்கு விளக்குவது பெற்றோர்களின் பொறுப்பாகும்.

 ⌘ தினசரி நடவடிக்கைகளில் சுறுசுறுப்பான ஈடுபாடு: பெற்றோர்கள் தங்கள் குழந்தையுடன் தினசரி தரமான நேரத்தைச் செலவிட வேண்டும், அவர்களின் பள்ளிச் செயல்பாடுகளைப் பற்றி விசாரிக்க வேண்டும், அவர்களின் பள்ளிப் பணிகளை மதிப்பாய்வு செய்ய வேண்டும், ஆசிரியரின் கருத்துகளை ஒப்புக் கொள்ள வேண்டும், மற்றும் ஒதுக்கப்பட்ட வீட்டுப்பாடத்தை நிறைவு செய்ய வேண்டும்.  அவர்களின் குழந்தைக்கு ஆக்கபூர்வமான கருத்துக்களை வழங்குவதும் முக்கியம்.

 ⌘ உணர்ச்சி நல்வாழ்வு: பெற்றோர்கள் தங்கள் குழந்தையில் உள்ள உணர்ச்சி குறைபாடுகளின் அறிகுறிகளைக் கவனிக்க வேண்டும் மற்றும் தேவைப்பட்டால், பள்ளி அதிகாரிகளை உள்ளடக்கிய உடனடி உதவியை நாட வேண்டும்.
